Peer Review: Megan, Leah, and Shannon

Megan- Her brochure includes her own family tree. Her PowerPoint allows the viewer to stay entertained.

Shannon- Her website is full of information, videos, and photos that all get the attention of the viewer.

Leah- Her website looks very professional and she included all of her sources. She has different tabs for each subject too.

  1. Megan—family reaches back to the Mayflower, Very cool!

Leah—Hard time finding pictures, about nursing, healthcare changes tab is a good idea and mentioning how everyone will be in the hospital at some time.

Shannon—All about sex and alcohol in the media, we don’t know much about the multimodal project.

  2. REVIEW from Trey, Cecily, and Cayleigh:

Megan (brochure & PowerPoint)- It would be interesting to know why your grandpa decided to research your family history.

Shannon (sex and advertising) - I think your website sounds like it would be interesting.

Leah (Nursing and communication)- Healthcare is a very important topic that not many people know about and I think your website should be good.

  3. Megan is focusing on family genealogy and the methods in going about how to search family history. Pamphlets will be beneficial in helping outline the steps.
Shannon's website on sex in advertising helps outline how sex is a key role in selling products from alcohol to high fashion brands.
Leah is concentrating on nursing communications within a health care setting by means of a website.

  4. Megan: Like how her topic is relatable to everyone.

Shannon: Topic is universal because it effects everybody. Sounds interesting.

Leah: Audience is Nursing majors. But is geared towards the general audience because she is also going to talk about healthcare issues.

  5. Shannon - Good topic! I like the idea of this presentation. Your website sounds like a good idea.
Megan - I think the brochure will be a good idea for a handout
Leah - As a nursing major (Ashley), great topic! But, maybe I'm biased. Still, sounds like a great idea and a good use of your research.
