First Peer Review on Multimodal Project
Today during class, your peer review group will meet to determine where everyone is so far on their project and to commit to a title for your panel presentation. Each group should respond to this post with the title of its panel, along with one sentence for each individual student's presentation that describes its focus and its format.

Communication and Careers
ReplyDeleteMegan- I am going to talk about genealogy and how it affects everyone's lives. I plan on creating a brochure with my family tree and a PowerPoint with my families stories from researching genealogy and a few slides about how to research genealogy.
Leah- I am talking about communication between nurses and patients. I am going to create a website displaying the information i found in my research.
Shannon- I am going to present on sex in advertising and the media. I will be using a website to show and discuss the information.

ReplyDeleteShelby: I am going to do an Xtranormal Dialogue about relcating after college.
Victoria: I am going to do an Xtranormal Dialogue with a customer talking to a doctor about making a designer baby.
Clayton: I am doing a powerpoint about ways to explain PTSD and possible ways to prevent it and to treat it.
Cassie: I am going to do an Xtranormal Dialogue about a man who is talking to a girl in a docotors office about how he keeps having to be readmitted to the hospital for a terminal disease that he got from the hospitial. She is going to tell him about how that could have been prevented.

Hallie: I am making a PowerPoint presentation that outlines the symptoms and causes of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome through the use of pictures and illustrations.
Stephanie: I am making a Prezi Presentation that explains how creativity and design are different aspects but have a strong relationship that begins in childhood and can follow into careers such as architecture.

Trey:I am making a powerpoint with audio clips from my interviews. My goal is to explain how the people I interviewed went beyond educating me about the history of Milltown by changing my views on my family, respect for Milltown, and what it truly means to be a Milltown Miller.
Cayleigh:
My goal is to inform my audience on the hardships of being a wife in early America. I originally planned to do a power point then experimented with the idea of a comic and I am now considering doing an animated movie. While I don't have a set plan of what method I am using, I know what I want to do and that is let people know women used to be restricted rights from in marriage. Also explaining what this meant for how they lived.
Cecily:My objective is to educate the interested beginner about jazz music. I am making a website that will cover a brief history of the music and a section of suggested listening. The suggested listening will cover a variety of subgenres.

Adam: I will be giving a speech about my topic using a powerpoint as my medial-project. I will be giving information on why the legalization of cannabis will help aid our failing economy.
Lynne: I am creating a website that is mainly to inform users about what a vegan lifestyle entails, why you should adapt more to vegan living, and how to get started.
Embarking on the Journey of Diversity
ReplyDeleteJavonte- I am doing a 3D timeline highlighting significant historical cases, which impacted the African American culture.
Edilia--I'll do a web site--using weebly--focusing on the history of the Inca Empire.
Trista- I'm either going to make a website or a brochure focusing on the positive effects of vaccines on children.
Megan- Her brochure includes her own family tree. Her PowerPoint allows the viewer to stay entertained.
ReplyDeleteShannon- Her website is full of information, videos, and photos that all get the attention of the viewer.
Leah- Her website looks very professional and she included all of her sources. She has different tabs for each subject too.
